Jugs were for our ancestors the very talismans of resources: water, milk or cereals, they hid the most valuable from temperature, pests or the destructive influence of time. Our jugs protect and give the most valuable resource – light. And with it, a feeling of persistence and connection with the common past.
For a long time, we wanted to create a form different from the classic sphere inherent in YALANZHI OBJECTS. In particular, we want to share a separate subject of our pride — the creation of cellulose jugs, which in terms of external characteristics are almost no different from ceramic ones. Although we already had to experiment with tinted cellulose, these jugs became a real creative step for us.
Although made of cellulose, the jugs fully convey the feeling of ceramics, namely the thick-walled and warm material, however, their weight is much less than the weight of the clay version.
USAGE AND LIGHTING
Pendant lamp GLEK is an exceptional collection of lamps. They reproduce the effect of the ceramics by its thickness and warmth of the material. Ethnic motif of these lamps can become a spectacular addition to the loft and commercial residences in wabi-sabi, japandi and modern scandinavian styles.

Pendant lamp GLEK directs light downwards, so it is great for light zoning and accent lighting. The hanging lamp GLEK is about peace, coziness and safety. The jar, which once stored the most valuable resources, tells us its story with light. Convexity and roughness, like fingerprints, form the amazing and unique texture of this lamp.
Hanging lamp GLEK COCOON – can be made in two sizes that complement each other, forming a light duet that will become an unrivaled addition to any room. This pair will create cozy lighting in any part of the home or become a comfortable addition to a commercial space.
CUSTOMIZATION AND COLORING OPTIONS
All pendant lamps from the GLEK collection are tinted to preserve the uniqueness of the texture. These colors will perfectly convey the depth and secret meanings hidden behind the textured surface of the entire GLEK collection. We use high-quality paints from a British manufacturer Little Greene. They are wearproof, almost unaffected by the environment and designed specifically to emphasize particular interior design solutions.
Wires and fittings colors can also be customized. All available options are represented in our palette in the same section for your convenience.
The lamp wire standard length is 150 cm, but it can be adjusted according to the customer’s request.

MATERIAL
Biocomposite Zemletsvit (“earth blooming”) is used to create pendant lamp GLEK. Being a unique material, developed by Julia and Yevhen Melnychenko, it has a particular composition that brings an unparalleled texture to this modern chandelier. Zemletsvit is a completely natural material, which surprises with its stability and durability. It consists of an ecological mixture of cellulose, sawdust and fine-grained mineral, hemp fibers, glue and an admixture of Ukrainian soil. By using Zemletsvit YALANZHI OBJECTS guarantees lamp’s strength and reliability. This material is hard as wood, yet flexible as plastic. While drying, cellulose fibers create almost living patterns on the surface. Due to the naturalness of the components, the material is warm to the touch, which is one of its unique features. Zemletsvit will complement your interior with a special natural texture.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning the lamp, make sure that it is disconnected from the power source.
The secrets of chandelier care are very simple: it is enough to regularly wipe the surface of the lamp with a dry soft cloth.
For deeper cleaning, use a warm soapy solution and a damp cloth, while avoiding aggressive detergents. Do not use hard sponges and abrasive materials to avoid damaging the textured surface of the product.
Care for lighting devices is as important as for any other interior items. Should a lamp be treated carefully, it will not lose its beautiful appearance for years and decades.
